Gretchen Fuller is a lifelong Canton resident and Registered Nurse. She is married to Butch and they have one daughter, Samantha, son-in-law Jarrod and one grandson, Cody Butch.
Gretchen majored in piano performance at the University of Illinois and received the Outstanding Pianist Award there. Gretchen comes to First Christian Church after being the organist at another church for 28 years.
Promoting End of Life initiatives and quality of care for terminally ill patients is very important to Gretchen. She has served as hospice manager at OSF Hospice, an affiliate of OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. Gretchen was Hospice Manager at OSF Hospice for six years and is currently employed in case management at OSF. Gretchen was the first hospice nurse with Graham Hospital’s Spoon River Hospice.
Over the years, Gretchen and Butch have been active in supporting the youth of Canton. Gretchen has taught and coached countless Canton area residents and played for many musical productions. Butch has served as President of the Canton High School Booster Club for many years and remains active with it.
